Monday, April 4, 2011:
Today was Lana's 1st snow day at the new house. This weekend we had beautiful weather, we went car shopping on Friday, and garage sale shopping on Saturday. We then spent all of Saturday in the backyard enjoying our beautiful 75 degree weather. We found a tricycle for Lana and she enjoyed being pushed around on the back patio, and putting her feet on the ground to push herself around. We ate lunch outside, watered the trees, and I even relaxed outside while Lana napped.
That night I had a hard time sleeping, the weather was changing and the wind was whipping around our house. Backing up to open space we feel some high winds. The next morning our patio table and chair were blown into the yard. I ran to the grocery store and on the way back it started raining, once home it started sleeting. An hour later it was full on snowing.
It snowed the rest of Sunday, so Monday morning Lana and I had a good 2 inches to play in. First we had to get a little bundled up.

Outside Lana really enjoyed playing in the snow. We walked around, I pulled her on the sled, and we made snowballs to throw to Logan. Logan was running around the backyard the whole time eating snowballs and checking things out. I think we were outside for almost an hour. What fun!

It was a good thing Lana and I went out to play in the snow this morning. This is what our backyard looked like at 12:00 noon.
