Trip to Texas: Marijane and Kevin's

Sunday, March 6, 2011:

   Today we went over to Marijane and Kevin's house to see how the addition was coming, and boy what a change!  The house looks completely different from the outside and is almost complete on the inside.  Lana loved the porch swing and running around on the deck.  She also wanted to help paint, if we couldn't find her she was doing some touch ups in the new master bathroom.

   Out in the garage Lana found her new favorite toy, Aunt Marijane's new motorcycle!  Lana had a great time honking the horn with Kevin.

   Next Lana went shopping with Aunt Marijane and Kevin for her first pair of cowgirl boots!  Now whenever I bring up Marijane and Kevin, Lana says, "boots!"  Here are some pictures taken at dinner that night at Gigi and Grandpa's house.

Trip to Texas: Grandma's House

Saturday, March 5, 2011:

   Today we all went over to Grandma's house for dinner.  Lana and Caleb had a great time playing with all of Grandma's toys.  We also Skyped with Roger, Jill, and Juliana while we were there.  It was difficult to hear when Lana and Caleb kept playing with the popper, but they were having a blast.  Check out all the fun they had at Grandma's.

   We then surprised everyone with a special dessert!  I am surprised my Mom didn't have a dream about this, haha!

 

   Our second child is due November 8, 2011!

Trip to Texas

Friday, March 4, 2011:

    Alex, Lana, and I are back in Texas to visit with all of our family and friends and to watch the movers pack up our house.  Lana enjoyed having quality time with Daddy on her own little couch.

   Later that evening we met up with Grandpa and Dao for dinner.  Lana sat in a booster seat between them and had a blast coloring and blowing the straw papers across the table.  I'm so glad that Lana is happy wherever she goes, even restaurants.

   After sitting for awhile Lana enjoyed walking around the restaurant with Grandpa.  We all had a great time.

Play date with a New Friend

Monday, March 1, 2011:

   Lana and I are so excited about making so many new friends in Colorado and having play dates.  Today we went to play with Dillon.  His Dad worked with Alex in Houston and moved up to Colorado last year.  Lana and Dillon are very close in age so they played really well together.  Lana loved playing outside!  I think we will have to find some outdoor toys for Lana very soon.  She could have stayed in the sand box all day.  Look at all the fun she had playing in the car and on the slide.

   Later that afternoon Lana and I went to explore the north side of South Valley Park.  Lana was my tour guide and led the way with the map, she enjoys being the leader.

    That evening Lana ate like a champ!  She sure loves spaghetti.  I love how she gets all messy and tries to clean herself and and table.
