IL: Tim and Shannon's Wedding

Sunday July 3, 2011:

What a beautiful wedding Tim and Shannon had at the Baltic Mill at Belvidere Park.  It was a beautiful day, and it was so nice being outdoors.  Lana loves this park and it was great letting her run around before everything got started.

Walking to the Baltic Mill.  I love how they are all holding hands, too cute!

Cuties!  Juliana, Lana, Zoe, and Maya.

Lana chasing the Canadian geese.

Lana is being so silly, so happy to be with Grandma.
Aunt Jill, Juliana, and Uncle Roger.

We got 2 out of 3 looking.

Aunt Paula, Grandma Hart, and Uncle Bill.

Here comes the bride.  Just beautiful.

The wedding party.
Sooo, Lana had a hard time sitting still through the ceremony.  We tried looking at books but that didn't last long, she decided to throw those in the grass.  She did stay quiet playing with the water bottles and eating ice.  In our last attempt to keep her sitting, we let her play with the camera.

The ice bucket with water bottles was a hit!

Eating ice, yum!

When Lana gets the camera, she takes close ups of herself.

Me and Dad.

We made it across the bridge Dad.

After the wedding we took the girls to the park before heading over to the Hoffman House for the reception.  We had a table right next to Tim and Shannon.  We enjoyed some very tasty food and got to eat plenty of Grandma Hart Cake.  I finally got to try some of Tim's cake.  It looked amazing, and was super rich.  Great job!  There was a puzzle table for the kids, but Lana enjoyed running around the hall and dancing. She was a hoot, but hard to keep up with.  I am 5 months pregnant and wearing heals no less.

Bride and Groom table.

Wedding cake, grooms cake, and gluten free cake.

Cute cake topper.  How personalized.

Tim's cake, he made every part of it out of chocolate.  Amazing!

Cutting the cake.

Silly Juliana and Lana with their Grandma.

Everyone is looking and smiling!  It's amazing!
We all had a great time on our quick trip to IL.  Lana loved playing with Juliana all weekend and it really wore her out.  We left the reception at 6:30 p.m. mountain time and made it home in 14 hours at 10:30 a.m.  Lana slept through the night and even then some in the morning.  It was a great trip but I was really worn out for the next two days.  Looking forward to having company come visit us again soon.
